Susan Murray

Susan Murray brings over 25 years of experience in immigration law to her role as Managing Paralegal at Serotte Immigration Partners. She began working with the firm in 2008 as an independent contractor before joining full-time in May 2011. Throughout her tenure, she has managed large and complex caseloads, supervised team personnel and firm operations, and played a key role in developing processes and efficiencies that support the firm’s commitment to high-quality client service.

Known for her analytical mindset and dedication, Susan focuses on improving workflows through comprehensive thought processes and operational analysis. She has worked with an array of clients — from global corporations and small startups to families pursuing immigration goals — providing practical, compassionate, and results-driven support to attorneys and clients alike. She consistently applies high standards and organization to her work and firm operations. Her care for our clients and their goals, partnered with her attention to detail, provides reliable support to the firm and clients.

Susan earned her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, with a minor in History, from Canisius College. Her early exposure to different cultures while living abroad sparked her lasting interest in immigration law. She has continued to build her expertise by attending many annual American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) conferences, where she deepens her understanding of both employment-based and family-based immigration matters. Her experience spans across business and family immigration, and includes preparing filings such as H-1B, H-1B1, TN, L-1A, E-1/E-2/E-3, I-140 and I-130 immigrant petitions, Adjustment of Status, Immigrant Visa Processing, F-1 STEM OPT, Naturalization, I-90, consular visa processing, and related matters.

Outside of the office, Susan enjoys skiing, golfing, hiking, reading, and attending concerts. She values time spent with her family.
