Katja Frommer

Overview
Katja Frommer is an Associate Attorney at Serotte Immigration Partners. Her practice has long been focused on Extraordinary Ability cases, but more recently she also discovered a passion for legal knowledge management and is now actively engaged in the creation and curation of Serotte Immigration Partners’ internal knowledge base. In addition, Katja regularly writes and updates educational and reference materials for our clients and team members.
Born and raised in Germany, Katja earned a graduate degree in psychology and worked for several years as a psychologist in a German psychiatric hospital before immigrating to the U.S. in 2003. She joined Serotte Immigration Partners in 2006 as a paralegal, working on various family- and employment-based cases, outbound immigration, and temporary waivers of inadmissibility. In 2014, she received her Juris Doctor from the
St. Mary’s School of Law in San Antonio, TX. During her legal studies, Katja participated in her school’s immigration clinic and was a staff writer for The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Race and Social Justice.
Katja is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and is fluent in English and German.
