Bobby West

Paralegal

Overview

Bobby West joined Serotte Immigration Partners as a paralegal in February 2026, bringing energy and dedication to the firm's Startup team, where he serves as one of the first points of contact for clients navigating the early stages of their cases.

Before coming to Serotte Immigration Partners, Bobby gained diverse legal experience at several firms in the Buffalo area, working across family and matrimonial law, large-scale class actions, medical malpractice, and general tort and liability matters. He also spent time with the New York State Attorney General's office in Rochester.

Bobby earned his undergraduate degree in U.S. History, with a minor in Philosophy, from the University at Albany (SUNY) in 2017. An early interest in law—sparked by years of competing in Mock Trial during high school—led him to an AmeriCorps position as an Intake Paralegal with Civil Legal Services, where he assisted under served populations with housing and eviction issues, public benefits, elder and commercial fraud, and general legal guidance. Bobby went on to earn his JD from the University at Buffalo School of Law in 2021 and looks forward to passing the bar and continuing to build his legal career at Serotte Immigration Partners.

Outside the office, Bobby stays active with workouts, hiking, walking, and swimming, and enjoys movies, live concerts, and spending time with friends. He also works part-time as a bartender at Asbury Hall, a local concert and event venue, where he's been on staff since moving to Buffalo in 2018.
